DESCRIPTION:First BES & LMEI Debating Competition\nRegister Now \nWe are pleased to advise that the 4 excellent schools taking part in our First Annual debating competition are: The Latymer School\, Riddlesdown Collegiate\, Whitgift School\, Wilson’s Grammar School. \nThe 6th Formers that are taking part also took part in the Battle of Britain and so age is not a measure to be taken into account when listening to the quality of the debaters. The motion is:- \nThis house believes that minorities shape the future of Society in Middle East Countries and the UK \nThere will be one presentation from each school\, of 8 to 10 minutes\, followed by a Q and A\, Chaired by Lady Symons or Dr. Hakimian. Two of the schools will propose the motion and the other two oppose. T he 4 speakers will each receive an iPad 4 mini and the winning team and teacher will be offered a holiday in Luxor at a time convenient to them. Every member of the team will receive a certificate of appreciation.
